Does hair gel cause hair loss?

ive been using the same type of hair gel for about 2 years and nothing happened until a few weeks ago. i was taking a shower and i noticed i had a few hairs on my hand and a lot fell off. it hasnt stopped falling off since then and now i'm kinda worried. i dont notice any bald spots on my hair but i'm scared that hair is falling off. is this caused by my hair gel? and is there a way to fix it? thanks!Does hair gel cause hair loss?
well u should stop using gel; those are like late reaction cause;


gel can make your hair dry; well that's it; maybe u have dry scalp and your hair scalp can't hold your hair since u've been using gel;


trying using a different gel; or try moisturizing shampoo sp even when u use gel his won't cause u dry scalp.Does hair gel cause hair loss?

No, gel doesn't cause hair loss. You will loose up to 100 hairs a day or more. Stress can cause hair loss as well as medications. If you start to see your hair falling out in clumps then you should see your doctor and that there is more to your hair loss. Hope this helps.
yea hair gel can effect your hair because of the chemicals .





i too lost lot of hair when i used hair styling spray.





i had to discontinue in order to prevent it
It could be from the alcohol in the gel.


Gel contains alcohol %26amp; alcohol really dries out your hair which is probably causing hair loss.


I would give your hair a break and wear your hair natural for a while.
it could be.or it may be the shampoo.,im kno tht shampoo causes hair loss but idk bout gel
