I have read both of the answers you currently have and they arent entirely your correct . Hair gel does not affect in anyway.It stay on the outside of the hair shaft which means it can cause it no harm . An hair loss no it dosent cause that either. myth. too much might cause breakage, but not hair loss. just wash the stuff out.
that is a myth all hair gels hardens your hair and it can give you dead end
alot of people with thin hair have used hair gel for long periods of time. Additionally; Hats and head coverings contribute to hair loss. It has more to do with the scalp than the hair shaft.
