Can using gel really cause hair loss?

Can using gel really cause / contribute to hair loss? Or is it purely hereditary? Ive been told two different things so if someone could confirm whether gel does or doesnt cause hair loss that'd be great as I worry about using gel these days. ThanksCan using gel really cause hair loss?
YES....unless you use alchohol free hair gel cause its the alchohol that messes up your hair. Then again don't come hunt me down when you're an old bald man cause my advice was faulty LOLCan using gel really cause hair loss?
it irritates your scalp which can stop or slow down hair growth, so it CAN cause it to fall out more than normal, if you use it everyday and dont have healthy hair in the first place.


if you eat a balanced diet theres pretty much no need to worry about it though

uh ,i know alot of people who use gel , i think thats a bunch of bull, someone might have said that to scare you, if you do yank on your hair to hard while using gel then it'll come out.
If you are using a gel with high levels of alcohol over time it can dry you hair out and cause some damage to you hair resulting in some hair loss. However, it 's not going to make you go bald....lol
Yeah, there are chemicals in most hair products that are not good for anyone.

i have never heard of gel causing hair loss, %26amp; it is hereditary

gel can make your hair fall out yes but im not to sure about balding. it depends how you use it
